LifeYouth was formed in 2010 when Manchester based Church, South Manchester Christian Fellowship changed its name to LifeChurch Manchester.
This was also around the time Tom Butler was empolyed as youth pastor. His role was to start developing the youth program for the young people of LifeChurch.
Over the next few years
the vision and development of LifeYouth began.
Over the next two years the
youth meetings and lifegroup strucutres doubled to a healthly 6
lifegroups and around 50/60 young people gathering together on a
Friday night at the Kings Centre.
During this time the lifeyouth team began to develop. LifeYouth is now run by a collection of amazing leaders from LifeChurch Manchester
The start of the academic year of 2011 saw two major developments it the stoy of LifeYouth and LifeChurch Manchester. The kocking down of the Kings Centre and start of the new Life Centre. As well as the employment of our second employed youth pastor Tee. Who is also doing a theology and youth work degree at the same time.
Who knows what will happen in the future! But the BEST IS YET TO COME!
